Pop started sailing at 8 after his primary school added sailing into the course which was mandatory for all 4th graders to complete. He found sailing so enjoyable and peaceful until that one day he capsized in the storm during his second regatta of his life and scared himself so badly. A big scar deep down the bottom of his heart that his mom couldn’t allow it to remain forever of her son’s life, Pop was forced to keep sailing to overcome this fear. By 10 he became part of the Optimist national team. After a short break from sailing, he has been pursuing his Olympic dream on his Laser. Pop always hide himself in a golf course when he’s not sailing.
