Alexander Amarit Frefel (Alex) represents Thailand and the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in the 52 Super series with Team Vayu. He started sailing from the age of 7 in Optimists followed by ILCA’s and Platu’s, before finally moving to F18 where he is regarded as the best F18 crew in Thailand (after Ashwin). He enjoys rock climbing and other water sports alongside his bachelor studies for Civil Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi. When he is not doing other useful things, he spends his free time rocking his pink polo in search of new nicknames.
